Scottish Isles Bank Holiday Break
Description
This five-night bank holiday escape makes some of Scotland’s wildest landscapes surprisingly accessible. A full day of scenic cruising reveals the seabird-covered cliffs of Troup Head, the dramatic Duncansby Stacks and the towering Old Man of Hoy. Wildlife is ever-present, with experts from Ocean Wildlife Encounters on hand to help you spot puffins, guillemots, kittiwakes and seals. On Orkney, ancient history comes alive on guided walks to Skara Brae and the Ring of Brodgar, before a chance to explore Kirkwall’s historic streets. Skye then adds rugged drama, with hikes to the Old Man of Storr balanced by a gentler stroll around Portree’s colourful harbour. All the while, enjoy tales of local folklore and the warmth of a whisky tasting.
