Scenic Fjords of Norway

In June, Norway’s fjords take on a fresh energy – daylight lingers late, waterfalls are at their most powerful due to snowmelt, and there are fewer crowds than in peak summer. This voyage showcases some of the country’s most dramatic scenery as you sail waterways like Hardangerfjord, where orchards spill towards sheer cliffs, and Nordfjord, framed by glaciers and steep valley walls. There’s also a scenic diversion along Maurangerfjord to capture the thundering Fureberg Waterfall cascading at its fullest. Time ashore brings its own rewards, including the chance to hike to the Briksdal Glacier in Olden, kayak on mirror-like waters in Eidfjord, and set out from Skjolden to explore the wild landscapes of Jotunheimen National Park.
