Remote Isles of Scotland
Description
This adventure closer to home invites you to explore the most remote corners of Scotland, where sweeping coastlines, rugged islands and dramatic sea cliffs set a spectacular scene. Time ashore offers the chance to wander among ancient stone circles, hike scenic coastal paths, spot puffins in the Hebridean wild, and join in lively ceilidhs – traditional gatherings alive with folk music, dancing and storytelling. At sea, you’ll pass striking landmarks such as the towering Old Man of Hoy sea stack, Foula – the UK’s remotest inhabited island – and the Isle of Arran, its eastern outline said to resemble a sleeping warrior. Throughout your journey, watch for seabirds, seals and other wildlife from out on deck with guidance from Ocean Wildlife Encounters experts.
