In just under a week, you’ll visit two cities during the festive season, with extended stays allowing you to experience them by day and night. Taking advantage of Balmoral’s size, you’ll sail along the scenic Seine River, surrounded by picturesque countryside and riverside villages, into Rouen – a route only accessible to smaller ships. By day, perhaps explore Rouen’s medieval streets, lined with colourful timber-framed houses, and discover the sights of Antwerp, just a short walk from your ship, thanks to our central docking location. By night, immerse yourself in the cosy atmosphere of the Christmas Markets, where twinkling lights illuminate stalls offering local treats like mulled wine, chestnuts, gingerbread, apple brandy and Belgian waffles.
